LG has added one more Android
smartphone in its array of android smartphone, with the launch of LG Optimus
GK. This android based smartphone shares comparable specs to their previous LG
Optimus G pro. However, the smartphone has a comparatively smaller screen
display of 5 inches. Their latest launch that is LG Optimus GK incorporates a
full HD display and capable of rendering screen resolutions of about 1920 X
1080 pixels. The display is having a 440 ppi pixel density. Further, there is a
1.7 gigahertz QUALCOMM snapdragon
600 processor that drives the handheld device.
As per the reports received till
now, LG has decided about the launch of their latest device in the Korean
markets first. As already discussed the LG Optimus GK is incorporating all the
specs that were present in the LG Optimus G Pro, however, the 5.5 inch screen
are replaced by a 5 inch one. Resembling the Optimus G pro, the Optimus GK has
a random access memory of 2 gigabytes and a 13 megapixel camera on its rear as
well as a 2 megapixel front camera. There is an internal storage capacity of
about 16 gigabyte present in the device, which is expandable up to 64 GB. The
device supports micro SD and is powered by a 3100 mAh battery. Further, the device
has support for LTE. This LG Android
phone comes packed with a number of amazing features.
One of the interesting reports
that is notable and worth mentioning is that LG previously released LG Optimus
G pro with a 5 inch screen. This was probably that most of the smartphone users
find it difficult to handle 5+ inch screen smartphones as a result of their
size. It is still unknown that whether LG will be launching the Optimus GK to
the other markets, if they do so they will be able to compete with the Samsung
Galaxy S4. It should be noted that both the phones are sporting quite similar
specifications.
Moreover, the phone will be
having an android version of jelly
bean 4.1.2. This will certainly support the needs of those users, who are
utterly looking forward for a device that will support
the latest features, like Google Now, and Project Butter.
